Sales Development Leader 

The Sales Development Leader is responsible for leading new B2B business development in North America. This ideal candidate is passionate about establishing industry-leading processes and thrives on continuous improvement. A keen focus on people leadership and coaching is a must for this role. 

The Sales Development Leader will head a team of sales development representatives (SDRs) in North America and reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a fast-paced and highly successful organization. 

This is currently a remote position. 


Responsibilities 

• Set the business development goals, priorities and key prospecting strategies 

• Define processes and procedures for a growing team of SDRs and agencies 

• Focus on continuous process improvement across inbound and outbound SDR cadence 

• Coach and mentor SDRs and agency partners 

• Own the metrics and measurement across all SDR KPIs 

• Consistently meet/exceed individual and team metrics 

• Lead sales recruitment efforts 

• Test and learn through AB testing 

• Understand and champion the Sharechest offering for prospect engagement 

• Own the Sharechest CRM to optimize data integrity, cadence performance, and prospect information quality 


Experience & Skills 

• 3+ years of business development and team management experience in a tech/SaaS environment 

• 10+ years of progressive sales experience 

• Consistent track record of exceeding quota and outlined metrics 

• Experience working with Zoho CRM, LinkedIn, Zoominfo (or equivalents) 

• Knowledge of SaaS and/or subscription-based business sales models a plus 

• An enthusiastic team player with strong coaching skills 

• Demonstrated track record of successfully building and managing sales teams 

• Ability to work in a dynamic, start-up environment 

• History of testing and improving processes
